Use your sonar device for safety as well as finding a good fishing spot. During the day, fish the green areas like on this chart. In low light in the evening, night, and morning, fish the shallow yellow areas. The green weeds are still here and will hang on for quite a while. Fish the edges of those weed lines and I guarantee fish. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will be good like this past week. Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday you will need some more patience. EDIT> Looks like more rain after that sorry. This is for the current forecast that is predicted by the weather people. I can't see into the future. And to be totally honest, I do not use sonar on Balsam or Sturgeon in a boat. Only because we fish the same few spots out on those two lakes. The birds have always been my fish finders. We see birds catching fish...Osprey, Loons, Seagulls, Cormorants etc...That is where we fish.
