First time out from Collingwood this year, water had just a bit of ripple this morning, smooth ride. Lure down before sun up, marked a few here and there, one knock off and finally a 4 lb laker. That's good enough for me to make the skunk go away. Speaking to the Harbour Master, seems like not much action today from what he had heard.
Water levels are pretty low at the launch, roll up the pants to get the boat back on the trailer.

Very slow for sure. Local guys with a lot of experience were struggling too. Several boats in town "pre-fishing" this week for the salmon derby on Saturday. Good luck to those in the derby and for supporting the local angling club.

Yup was a tough day ...water temps down to 110 were 65 + , bait was scarce , and the few we marked had lock jaw .. did scratch out one laker and a few knockoffs , but all in all not the day Im used too in these waters,,,
