now that a fine day of fishing. Weather was strange yesterday here as well, snow, rain, sun, then heavy snow. Made for some really bad driving

Great job out there! I heard of guys getting quite a few browns out your way this year through most of the season… I don’t know that I even got one, and I was out there a lot haha. I’ll have to give one a try sometime, sounds like the general consensus is that they’re pretty good eating.

Nicely done Werner.....yup I hate those heic pics too.....nothing but unsupported issues with them. Now the fish on the other hand look awesome and thx for sharing......I am going after some shiny steel on Tuesday, in Owen Sound weather permitting.

they are.........you got to go at the right time for browns........spring in the lake and now in the river

you'll be fine with a light sw wind, any west wind for fishing the Canadian side


any north or ne wind can make it tough as it will impede the correct drift speed and makes the river mouth really dangerous.


i'm looking at Monday right now and may try another shot at it.....the weather is changing every 12 hours ....so typical

Congrats on a fine day out. I recognize the dock in the one photo…we always caught a lot of browns there at the right time of year.Brings back some memories!

Solid day Shank. I miss fishing the Niagara. When I Ivex down there I used to guide it for a friend of mine when he couldn’t do the trips. Great body of water.
