Thanks for the gesture Ralph. That is very kind of you. Periodically I receive old rods from my customers and friends who no longer want them, so I clean them up, repair what is needed if anything, then post them on our Coldwater FB page at Christmas time. I give them away free to any youngster in our area in need of a fishing rod, who may not be able to afford buying a new one. I am always on the look out for old unwanted rods and will gladly accept any donations. I will put new life into an old fishing rod so I can give youngsters the opportunity to enjoy our great sport of fishing. This is my 2nd year of doing this and the response has been a rewarding experience to say the least. Happy Holidays!

Excellent. I will try to remember you do this if I have some old gear that I no longer need (maybe even some extra tackle can be donated to accompany the rods/reels would be a nice addition to help get kids who can't afford to, get started).
