Anyone able to tell me how the perching has been in Gilford? Thinking of bringing my 6 year old on Sunday and want to increase our chances of having some luck. I’m weighing out a couple of spots, Gilford is just the closest for us…

Lot of snow might be better up the lake shorter walks

I'm thinking of doing the same thing with a youngster. Anyone know the ice thickness at Gilford entering at the hwy89 entrance where the parking is ultra expensive??

Was out last weekend about a km straight out of shore acres...was at least 10 inches of good ice.....I did not measure. Headed out with the kids this Sunday as well. Pic is from Jan 25

How much snow? Taking the kids out tomorrow on the east side of cooks. Looks like I'll need to wax the skis on the smitty

Was out today. Perch were tight lipped…

Walked out with gear on my Smithy. No problems.
