Thank you Tyee22. My fishing partner Roger lost all his gear last Monday morning during the gale force winds. We were able to recover most of it but couldn’t find the Lawrence or the cover for the flip over.. It was in a bucket and we thought it might have rolled all the way to Port Bolster. We were staying at the Peninsula Resort last week. We are also from Michigan and will be returning to Penninsula on March 2. It would be great if you dropped it off there. Gerry is aware that we lost it. Please leave some contact information with it so Roger can personally thank you.

I tried to PM you but it didn't work. You are a great person for tracking down the owner of the gear. I hope that this kindness returns in the future...you deserve it! There are some amazing people on this board.

Wow. Love when this stuff happens. I tend not to use bungees anymore as they have too much stretch sometimes. Straps that can be pulled tight and released quickly seem to be a bit better security (and I hate those hooks that usually come with bungee cords...but they have their use for certain applications too).
