Had a few minnows left over so decided to pop a couple holes to see if there really was brook trout in my lake. 2 feet of water and caught this beauty! It's known as a bass lake too.

Can’t argue with that logic…. I also have a half dozen in my pail…. But now I’m fighting the flu and 75mm rain forecast today… been booming all morning.

Nice discovery! Is this lake actively stocked or is there a remnant native population?

Nice catch I guess you'll be fishing your lake more often 😆.
