One of my most memorable trips...In the 70s I was fortunate enough to receive an invite to go to Hall lake on the Melville pen. Hall beach was a DEW line early warning location .. Nunavut was the town we left from ...
Helped on runway construction ...
Fishing .. Char and lakers.. you would think these fish that have never seen a lure would be easy to catch..NO...countless casts in the river, would follow but not commit ..finally reel and let drop in sand , quick jerk ..fish on ..ended up with many char and lakers, fed the camp..always on the watch for polar bears (no joke)
This venture continued to Baffin Island and then Greenland .. Never will forget the memories I brought home ..
In my 81 yrs I have been very fortunate to have been able to fish around the world//lifes short , enjoy your time...
Bragging...Maybe just a bit ..LOL
