Hey Cottager,

I shoot cross bow so not that familiar but I did shoot one of the APA Vipers at the last outdoor show. Very light, lots of smack, expensive though. I have short draw length and the Viper starts at a 23 1/2" draw.

Like I said not that familiar but an option you may not have looked at.

I think a pro shop is the best way to get yourself a bow. Bass Pro, Wolf's Den, Arher's Nook...all good...enjoy spending on the ultimate hunting weapon..my two cents worth...Mathews z7 extreme.

I have been driving my wife nuts with my turkey calls, hehehe. I am taking the turkey course here in London in April. People tell me the course is pretty simple, just remember not to wear blue, red or white clothing when you hunt.

Wow, nice Tom Fishsticks, I need to find me some half decent property to hunt on. Not easy these days with so many people looking for spots.
