Just want to put this out there as a reminder to treat the gracious landowners that let you hunt their proper. I do this at least 3 times a year plus take out muffins or cookies in between times just to talk. I have the farmer who has pretty much stopped farming now and his 2 adult boys that do the farming.

So remember you want to keep what you have. I'll be losing what is arguably my best spot as it is up for sale and there is lots of interest. I will ask the new owners if I can hunt but it is doubtful.

A nice gesture and I wish you luck with the new owners.

I do the same with Salmon. I appreciate the privilege to hunt their property.

X2!!! Have always done the same! Shared my game, smoked meats, wine, nice bottles of bourbon at Xmas time. Never forgetting how blessed I am to have the “privilege “ to hunt their land. Thanks to all 3 of my land owners for allowing me to do so! I truly appreciate all of you!!

Bye the way, never be afraid to knock on doors, it doesn’t hurt to ask! That’s how I acquired permission……. So thankful
