Hi all,

I was planning to fish the lower niagara tomorrow, but with all that rain we got, would it be pointless? Im just not sure if the niagara get affected the same all the blown out smaller rivers around me. Thanks for any input,

Winterfisher

Niagara is affected more by the color of eastern lake Erie

pointless....no

but for sure the river will have reduced visibility.....it is not just Erie, but run off along the banks also

having said that, the lower can still produce at the mouth and the USA side like Artpark

roe, beads and mag lips will work on a 3 way setup

Try googling cams in the Niagara region, some will show you what the water quality looks like

Thanks for the input guys. Had a good day. Water wasnt too cloudy, guess browns can see with lowered visibility. Ended up with 14 browns. No monsters. Average size 4-6 lbs, biggest was 8 lbs.

3 were from trolling spoons, rest from 3 way with minnow. Tried roe, not interested. Maybe if there were bows around
