I admit it's been a long time since I have posted anything, although I consistently follow all your adventures. Fishing has taken a back seat to pickleball, grandkids, and aging parents my mother and my wifes mother. Camping trips are still planned and attended with hopes our three sons and families will attend but that not always work out. This year we booked a campsite between Parry Sound and Sudbury for 2 weeks Grundy Provincial Park. We have stayed there several times over the last 15 or so years but never at this site. We have had a absolute horrible time getting any sites online this year and the reason is clear. Camping has become an affordable vacation for many. What I have seen is not really for the greater good in my opinion. The parks are full of families, the lakes are full of kayaks, paddle boards, and inflatables. Everyone searching for the memory. So many people fishing the same little lakes. Years past camping was quiet, less crowded, more respectful of surroundings and each other. So what has changed? people are loud, children are louder, car alarms, inability to walk to a washroom, the inability to flush a toilet or even hit the toilet not the seat, my rant goes on and on. Bottom line it is what it has become and I must learn to adapt or not attend. I love camping, outdoor cooking, fires, sunrises and sunsets so I must learn to conform to these new ways. We made the best vacation here's several photo's capturing our events

A pleasant find for those of you that are knowledgable in mushrooms. Edit added, An after thought was this photo was not in the Provincial Park Boundary as we all know removing and foraging within park boundaries is prohibited.
