Went out a few days ago with a very good buddy. WE seldom have a chance to fish together so we took the opportunity.
Got out at round 7.30 am due to heavy fog which really never went away....wind forecast was sw 6 by 9 am. but it never shifted from light north to northeast
WE ran until we found the water color we were looking for and bait and the action was nuts from the first set till around 10.30 am
we had doubles and 2 triples kind of nuts with 2 guys but a ton of fun. the fish hit hard but short so we lost quite a few, so went something like 12 for 23 in 2.5 hours
speed and colors were critical with 2.2 and 2.4 for speed at the ball and green / black combos of spoons
Had a blast and kept 3 Coho and 2 chinook around 7 pounds....others were released....they all fought crazy that day
