If you want to head further north....eg Nipissing then they have really great on ice bungalows.
Most are propane heated, but with vented furnaces. personally I would stay away from the wood heat..too hard to manage a consistent temperature vs the propane furnaces with a thermostat

I haven't fished Nipissing yet but my friend has for a few years. The bungalows are great...he always sends pics and I would live in them if I could. Some have great facilities, barbeques, etc...worth the investigation.

Nip for the win. Would investigate/book quickly as most weekend spots are likely gone already. January and March are typically best fishing as the slow February bite is a real thing on Nip. Not that you can't have great days in February just less likely.
All have decent heat, some cooking facilities, and beds.
Fancier ones will have
full kitchen generator connection with genny included in some cases attached heated bathroom some even come with flat screens and satellite
most sleep 4 to 8 people.
Fishing can be anywhere from on fire to slow enough you are mostly playing cards and drinking. Last year fishing was insane but ice was %$^&. Had a PB day with 108 fish in 6.5 hours. That was not in rental hut though as i have my own place and am 100% run and gun.
Helps if you have snowmobile/atvs and gear to run and gun during the day to get on fish if hut action is slow.

Hey guys,
Thanks for the insight.
And yes species, I have looked into a few of them now and there is some awesome set ups - and we are planning to bring some cards to play some poker cash game if its slow/at night etc.
And I will bring my sled/gear to do a bit of travelling around outside if needed.
I think the wife and I are going to book a 2 person one this season to try the experience, and next season me and a few of the boys are going to rent a 4-6 man one - seems like this year is a bit short notice.
One thing I did find, is a few of them offer a 3rd free night during the week, so I would definitely go up during the week for the added bonus - would hope for at least 1 hot day out of the 3 for some good fishing.
It's also the experience, I've always wanted to do it.
Thanks again! Much appreciated.
Will be making some calls next week for availability etc.

We just went through looking for and booking our group's annual trip in a bungalow on Nip. Let me save you some time, here's a list of the operators I found who offer 6-8person bungalows, mostly on Callendar Bay or near that area.
There's ample more if you're looking for 2-4 person units.
1. Green Bay Cottages - 705-752-3558 Have 8man cottages, $240 per person
2. Anglers Haven - 705-724-5354 6 man = $1380, 8 man = $1840
3. Third choice is Fish Bay Marina 705-724-3130 They have many sizes including 6, 7, 8 man bungalows, no price online
4. Chilly Willy - 705-477-3076 These are deluxe 8 man bungalows, 250per person, $2000 for the bungalow. But we’re talking full lights, genny, thermostat heat, even TV
5. Lake Nippissing Outfitters 705-752-5778 only has 2 or 4 man
6. Ice Bungalows.com - 705-724-171 4 or 6 man only

Thanks everyone!!
We ended up just getting a 2 person one - we booked with South River Resort - Steve and Mary are new owners who seem very enthusiastic about the upcoming season.
We will be outside if the weather allows for part of the day and we are okay with the smaller space judging by the pics it will do just fine.
I greatly appreciate the insight from this community as per usual.
If anyone is heading down my way to fish muskies on St. Clair, drop me a PM for some current time of year insight if you wish
