Hi All, I was hoping for some suggestions on a provincial park that has some decent shore fishing spots. I am planning on doing a couple days of solo car camping next week and looking to drive less than 2 hrs. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you.

P.S. i was going to camp at bronte creek and do some salmon fishing but looks like heavy rain on tues will muddy the waters.

Was out on Bronte the last 2 days. Wednesday after all the rain, the water was very muddy but fishing was phenomenal. Found a pool that was not terribly full of other people fishing and float was going down every 3 or 4 drifts.

Yesterday, River cleared up and felt like all the fish vanished. Saw 2 or 3. No one was really catching either. Still early. I think we need some more rain to be honest.

Definately a good option to have them but not a must. Just might to have to get your feet wet to land a fish. Bronte muddys up quick after the rain but there's lots of good pools. I find as long as you see fish running through the rapids there's bound to be some hunkered down in the pool. The rain early next week should bring another run of fish in.
