Nice build Disco but I think the cost would make Smitty blush. His original post that "started" the smitty sled was titled "My Homemade $15 Sled". For anyone looking for more ideas than you could ever use - punch that in to google.

Thank you Browns. It’s been a long long time since I was a competitive racer. I did not know there was a universal wax. Technology in wax must have crept up on me.....seems I have missed a lot. 😆
I may try this as what you don’t know some times may be hurting you. That’s is it you’re pulling to hard.

This is what I've been using the last few seasons ...20 bucks on Amazon.

I found this on clearance at CT $4, super easy to apply. sprayed some on the poles of my flip up and then decided to put bow wax on it afterwards but the wax wouldn't stick to the poles at all,so i guess it works!
