I am not that superstitious but. Last year, October 18th 2023 was an amazing night of many big walleye and medium walleye. At midnight it was October 18th again one year later. Now these fish last night were not as big as last year and not as many but. You can bet I will keep October 18th open next year, to see if this happens again. Full moon last night and beautiful out. Almost no breeze most of the night. Went down to 1 degree by 6am. Fog rolled in so thick you could not see the water.

There was some bass swimming around with the walleye last night as well. Here is a big one, with my favourite Joker bait. All the fish were hitting my baits that were only 18 inches under the surface. When the fog rolled in my bait was only about 12 to 14 inches under the water surface.

Beauty fish CM - took the kids bass fishing last Friday on the river down here - they were pretty lethargic - but I managed this beast.

Well done Jaime. That's quite a haul for the night.
I'm heading up to Balsam myself in the morning so see if the smallies are hungry still. I haven't had much of a chance to get out lately, but the outboard is screaming for a workout, and so is my casting arm!!
