Daughter started some fishing competition with a friend at school -
rock bass and stuff are 2 points
Bass - 5 points
Trout/walleye - 10 points
Pike - 15 points

So she wanted me to take her fishing
Small lake full of little pike by my house so figured that was her best chance for some points - she got a couple and I got a few, allegedly I’m not allowed to compete

Kept a few for dinner

Filleted them up with the help of Utterson’s 5 gazillion mosquitoes and had a nice snack. They may be little, but they tasted like bigger ones

Yeah, that’s the first thing I said Harold. What kind of sense does that make? They’re like 13-14 yrs old, so who knows the logic, or if there actually is any.

I made sure to put on a balaclava and borrow a friends vehicle, don’t want anyone I know finding out I was pike fishing on purpose.

Ha---It doesn't matter a twit. The main thing is to get them out there. Would they hold up the pike for pix or were they too eeewey?

Our grandkids are quite happy with sunfish and gobies!
