My new setup as of today. Helix 10.....Dewalt batteries......Dewalt power Source Adapter all fitting in a Princess auto shock/waterproof case.
Longish Good looking setup. Does your Dewalt adapter have a 12V plug like the Milwaukee? I have a Dewalt but it just has USB slots. If so where did you get it?

I don't have pictures, but I use an ammo box with dual clasps, a 12v cigarette lighter pug. The box holds 2- 7.2 Ah gel cells, and wired in parallel, it powers my helix 7 for the weekend. ammo box cost about $17 on amazon, and bought the hummingbird ice ducer. Works like a charm, and everything (including sonar screen) fits inside the box for transport. Just make sure you get the larger size ammo box(with 2 clasps, not just 1).

Power source charges through 12v auxiliary port
SS-77: How did you connect the second battery and connect the lead wire to your sonar unit? Is that a "homemade" connection or is one available in stores (hard to see from the picture)? Thanks in advance.

Yes my dewalt power adapter has a 12 volt plug.....It came with a heated jacket I bought from Mac tool guy. I am sure somebody should be carrying it....the model # is DCB092.......you have the DCB090. Here is a pic.

This is another way to go....It just came in today....I will be testing it's longevity in January.....hoping to get 6 to 8 hours of fishing out of it....It is a powerbank made by Talent cell.....It puts out 12 volt at max 6 amp.....also a output for 9 volt and a USB for 5 volt......you can even charge it while you are unloading it. Best part it is only $73 on Amazon and they are half the size of a 9Ah Milwaukee battery.....it is equivalent to 8.3 Ah.

Must be only available only with the heated coat. Can't find it anywhere online.

You are correct....I also scoured the net for you.....there is a Asian one that looks like a knock off but it does not produce 1.7 ampere on the output.......only produces 1 amp.....that will run everything up to a Helix 9 but not beyond that.

From the battery to the back of the fish finder how is that getting power how you plug it in wit it what
If that is for me.....the power wire and all other wiring is outside the case and separate from the case.....Only one wire needs to go into the case......right front corner has a 5/16 hole drilled to allow the power wire to plug into the batteries. My setup needs to be like that because it has to be free to go to my ATV when I don't walk......Makes it versatile.

You could try a mac tool truck in your area.
Thanks Longfish I did find the one you mentioned there. I also found one that produces 2amps but it's $66. Will keep looking. In the mean time here is my setup. I use it for the fish finder, lightning and fan in the Otter Pro Lodge flip over. It has a 7.2ah battery but I'd like to use a Dewalt adapter for the fan and lights.
