cottage.......Sept 12-15

We had a chance to take a short trip to the cottage and hit some incredible weather. lake was like glass the whole time....temperature of 27-28, but the nights were cool thankfully

had morning fog most of the time so focused on fishing mostly from 9 am till 2 or 5 pm till 8

either time was quite productive......I was really intent on just spending time sight fishing with those conditions and it's tough to do but so much fun... also tried a few new spots I have not really fished hard before


the scenery was amazing, the air was crisp and the bite was great.....What more you you ask for

my biggest one landed came on a topwater in the middle of the day

I have talked about ned baits before......you have to get the ones that float in order to sight fish the way I do...recently I have gotten packages that have baits in them that do not float and am contacting the company as to why

this year we just had too many family members with some severe health issues we had to be there for them
