well kids all out of town and busy, so I was going. Wife decided she would give it a try, she not good with sun and waves so went on the river. We fished for 2 hours. 5 walleye, a white perch. had something big come up and hit my jig while I was moving to another spot and the jig was just barely touching the water, heard a big splash and looked out and just saw a big body heading down. would probably lost my rod if it had taked the jig as I wasn't holding on to the rod with a good grip.

Pretty decent haul you've got there. BTW the oddball is a white bass, not a white perch.

awe yes you are correct, me bad. but a lot of people will call these silver bass which is just as wrong as me I guess. No matter what it was very good eating.

Nice Catch! Good eating, well done..

Looks very similar to a White perch, you don't see very many white perch around, at least I have rarely caught them..
