We spent 2 days just west of Espanola at my aunts cottage.
Yesterday we stopped on an Island for lunch (making it a full day on the water) and I slipped on a steep rock going down to were I tied up the boat.
Went for a tumble down the side of the island, bounced off a few rocks and smashed into my boat and almost slipped under it, legs took the brunt of it. I just laid there holding in the tears, thinking please don't be broken.
It was a really rough night so I had to call the trip early. Anyone who knows me knows I will suck it up and tough it out when I'm on a trip but maybe age is catching up.
Fishing was very good but I don't take many pictures.

Nice fish and pictures. The important part is you are okay to post the story. Glad you did not get hurt that bad. Getting hurt at any level tests our resilience. When you are out in nature, it forces you to be tougher. At home you just sit down on a comfortable chair and relax. Good job on toughing it out. Maybe get yourself checked out, just in case you cracked a bone.

Ouch, I did something similar in the rain one spring after ice out in Algonquin, slid down the wet rock and into the lake waist deep - quite cold, but I didn’t really get hurt - great fish and pics before you pulled the plug anyway
