Great day out

So finally made the trip this past Saturday to Nipp, and what great weather we had on Saturday, the ice is thick no worries 13+ inches, came out of Sunset Park. The place was rocking with people so we followed the marked trail out to the islands had lots of plans running to areas I marked on the Nav app, unfortunately sled had other ideas. With the burning of the sliders we decided to stop and just fish, no run and gun today. All slush froze up and all snow became ice, scratchers did nothing.

The fishing was steady all day we landed over 25 perch and 6 walleye with the wife getting most of the walleye, went threw 3 dozen minnows and called it a great first time experience will definitely try another trip before season end.
