Got out on Sturgeon today for the second time this year only due to renovations at my daughter's. I tried trolling for some Muskies but did not see any today. The carp were moving around quick on bottom. I stopped in deep water and marked some smaller fish on the bottom. I used a black maroiboo jig and was able to connect with a small walleye and 4 small bass. There were numerous followers today to make it interesting. I tried a crush city 3" minnow which got a bigger biter only a couple of feet below the surface. It was a hot one, hopeful to get out in the next few weeks before I get a hip replacement.
Hope to see more reports while I am rehabbing.

Good luck with the rehab. Glad you caught some fish before taking some time off with the hip. It was hot, I waited until almost sun down to go out last night. Fishing was good, a few small walleye and lots of crappie. I will post later, going to sleep now.
