A side view of the mount. The black is the mount . The white is the brick or the quick release bracket.

Front view… take the handle off and bolt the motor mount bracket … new hardware supplied. The two vertical long bolts are though the brick I bought two shorter stainless bolts to go through the back of the brick or they would hit and damage the front deck. Those long bolts I left long to attach navigation lights to.

Remove the stock screws that are through the nylon straps and use longer provided screws to attach the rear of the mount.....if these two holes do not line up without putting stress on the connection.....use some washers on the bolts where the old handle was to line the rear screws up.

So now the kayak part of the motor mount is secure. The piece you see lying on the front hatch in this pic is the part of the quick release that attaches to the motor. Then it all mounts over the brick and you attach the pin and lock....as you will see in the last pic without the motor attached.

Pictured here is a table I made , attached to the port side rail to hold the manual down-rigger. A Scotty with a line counter....I believe it is model 1061. The legs out of the bottom is for added stability so it wont spin on the rail.

The tracks to hold the toys for the cockpit, one on each side. A rod holder for each side.....one will down rig and the other on a dipsy diver. The Helix 10 G2 Chirp DI/Si is mounted on the starboard track. It works in conjunction with the Ulterra Trolling motor that is equipped with a Humminbird link.

Currently making some parts to rig this little fellow on the Port side track. That will give me surface temperature and speed as well as Temperature and speed by bluetooth from a probe attached to the down-rigger weight. A must for salmon as they are very temperature specific.....the speed can vary greatly from surface to at the hook due to underwater currents. This is a handy tool to take out the guessing of what is happening below.

Got to do some more on the Kayak build today. I completed the Fish Hawk. Getting a lot closer to launch. I can hardly wait to give it a test run to see how all the electronics will perform.

I also worked on the rear Navigation light today with a Canadian flag and finished that install. I also worked on some Blue LED lighting for in the cockpit and hope to finish that tomorrow. Pics today of the Fish Hawk.

With the rod holder behind it...if that does not work out the Fish Hawk will move further towards the seat and run off the Down rigger plate.
