Not bad for a two hour trip.
We got the one casting the swim bait. One on cut bait drop shot style bottom fishing and one drifting cut bait under a float. What works best? Who knows. ?

My friend owns the Blue Heron in PEI, in Port Borden.
We are fishing the rivers right now as the beaches aren’t producing many fish yet.

Ah ok right on. We’re on the other side, cavendish/north rustico. Sounds like the same thing there, we don’t go until July. When you say cut bait are you using mackerel?

Yes. Mackerel and circle hooks.
For numbers my most successful bait were swim baits. Some with an under spin some without.
