Went out for a simple overnight camping trip at the beginning of this month. The weather was pretty good. Managed to catch some fish for dinner. Here's a short video of the trip.

Thanks Dave! I'm glad you liked the video. The campsite turned out to be a panfish honey hole. It was fun catching them when the bigger fish weren't biting.

This lake is very close to McKewan Lake. It also has splake but I had no luck catching them.

Thanks crapeeeman. Was nice to get out after long. I took your advice from sometime ago and bought an air horn. Had it with me as an additional deterrent for bears.

Good job on the air horn. Bears, my favorite animal, and have been lucky to see them many times, day and night. But I never shake hands with them. LOL. Or feed them. We'll I did throw a few crappie to the big bear last summer. But that was to give me some extra time to get a safe distance away in the dark.

LOL @ throwing some crappies at the bear. Not a bad idea to keep the bear occupied.

Thanks Arnie! The spot was amazing. The lake is supposed to be stocked with splakes. Hope to catch some bigger fish next time.
