West end of Nipissing, Inquiring about the west end of Nipissin

Anyone know why there are no huts out in the west end of Nipissing? Is it unsafe/no fish??

I see why. Pressure cracks like crazy 3 big ones. Open water last nightn. Should be able to skip across with a snowmobile, but atv you will need to find a way around this one. With the snow and the cold it may have maksked the crack/open water. Be careful out there guys!!

Ice conditions on the West Arm can change daily and there are some dangerous areas to be aware of. It seems every year someone goes through the ice. Remember the West Arm is basically a river.
