All the best on your next phase. Time to kick back and land a bunch of new memories. Always wanted to try GL fishing and still on my list - i fish lots but am set up for back lakes and ice-fishing mostly. Only ever been out once with a friend in his 18 foot aluminum on Lake Ontario and managed a few shakers that day - not enough to check the box on my to do list.

Thanks...........that is exactly the plan
too bad that you just got shakers on your outing. it happens usually in mid June to July
if you would have hooked up with some screamers you would likely be doing it again

Best of luck in your retirement. I think you will take to it like a fish to water. Enjoy the extra time in your life and the freedom of choosing what you would like to do.
