The water is feeling much colder now than last week but it was calm...the calmest I have seen out there so far. Ended up catching one WF but didn't mark more than 3 or 4 times and only had two show any real interest...with one deciding she did not want to mate with any of the males in this area. Yup, it was a female and still full of eggs (and quite golden-coloured which was interesting to see). I would have thought they would be all done by now (mid-Nov); maybe most are and that was why it was hard to fine more WF today. A few more days of decently warm temps and with some light winds, I think I have another couple of trips before I call it the softwater season.
