My kids and I went into our musky lake by wheeler with canoe and packs loaded. We went in Saturday and only could manage a one night stay.
We got in and started fishing at 8:45 and caught a couple decent bass right away. My son got the first musky around six pounds and after a splashy fight we netted it.
We fished the rest of the day and caught a few more musky and bass. The most memorable musky was a fish my daughter hooked and went instantly airborne by two feet and threw the lure in mid air!
After a rainy night we fished until noon picking up two more musky. We hooked 10 and landed 8 and the biggest fish measuring 33 inches.
This lake is only 60 acres in size but super productive.
