World Record Trout Group: Members Posts: 1142 Member No.: 13075 Joined: January 11, 2017	Final count: 26 herring and 1 whitefish from neighbouring lake. Have been delivered to smoker. Will update post with finished product. May be a week or two as he is buried in bear meat right now.

World Record Trout Group: Members Posts: 5030 Member No.: 877 Joined: November 06, 2011	Wow--so many herring. I have been told that fatty fish freeze better whole. Whenever I clean lakers and freeze them, which I rarely do, they lose their flavor quickly. I tasted bear meat a long tie ago but can't remember how it tastes. I guess most people don't eat it.
