A beautiful day was spent with two friends out of Brontë. We had a stellar morning of fishing catching 5 Chinook and 1 Coho. They seemed to like purple spoons attached to #3 dipsies. The fish ranged from 8 to 22 lbs. The Coho was a really good size as far as Coho’s go. We fished from 6am till noon in about a 2 ft chop. Pics to follow shortly.

those are some really nice fish. Someday maybe I will pull boat to bigger waters and try, but I have been saying that for years. When I was out the other day there were 2 kayaks paddle fishing must have been 6 miles out and heading out further.

Wow thats a long way out for a kayak paddling.
In regards to bigger water…. Just pick your day carefully and do it.

I'm glad to hear you think it was a long ways out as I certainly did. Didn't know what it was looked like same kind of small boat from where I was fishing. When I moved to different location I went behind them about mile closer to shore, that when I realized it was 2 kayak's. It took me almost 15 minutes to get to where I was fishing and I was doing 27mph. When I said bigger water I thinking Lake O. But yes I'm old and don't like waves anymore, so winds have to be lower than 15K and that pushing it. I like under 10K.

Some days I’ll b out bouncing around in the waves thinking I should call it quits then look over and see a guy in a kayak and think ok maybe it’s not so bad
