Finally founf a dya where winds were not beating up the river so decided to try

"shore fishing" the Niagara.

Found a deent spot but didn't like the water color that much and there was a considerable lack of birds dive bombing bait etc. so took 50 casts and drifts.

went 2 for 3 on chromers and the 2 landed on pinkies were twins at around the 6 lb mark.

Wind shifted and decided I had enough for the day and wishing I was in my boat the whole time

Sorry forgot my camera again.

Best part ws I only lost terminal tackle 3 times today........tried using just split shots and only lost a few rather than many.

Next time will be with boat for sure

I agree Shank.
Hope it's better by Friday. I was thinking of heading down to the river after night shift. Are you interested?
Let me know.
Cheers!

Went down this morning and flogged the river for 3hours..quite slow....kind of cool as well.

Think water temp has to go up a couple of degrees to get them active.

Color not right for me to spend any time down beyond what I did.

keep you posted.

Thanks Shank!
I think I may try my last bit of ice fishing Friday, and hit the river Sunday instead.
I really wish this weather would turn around!
Cheers!
