My goal is light weight and too fold down from a base wall. I have sacrificed on weight in some areas so far but I will try to keep it sub 400 lb. Rough dimensions will be 7.5x4x6 LxWxH fold down dimensions are 7.5x4x3 or in that area.
The base is on 2x10 PT with skis underneath. The joists are 2x4 PT and cedar hung between the 2X10 with joist hangers. The floor is 1/2 inch PT plywood with 1 inch insulation glued and foamed around to secure to the bottom of ply.

Foam board installed with PL foam glue and spray foam between edges.(cut foam short to allow room for spray foam).

It's a slow go. This is something I have wanted to build for years and I'm taking my time but making progress. I ripped my top plates for a 2/12 roof pitch and put together the first top wall. I set the height to just above my head on the lower wall that was just installed. The next wall will have the roof hinged too it.

Working away slowly. I put 2 plexiglass windows in the second wall put up. I need to rip some more studs for the roof and side walls. Dam cedar is pricey.
To much snow is falling. It could be interesting getting a hut out this year.

Done some work on it.
I am looking at putting on a top rim of aluminum roll flashing on one wall. If get it installed I can put hinges on the top to hold the wall and roof together.
I have not found the sort of latching toggle clamps in store so I may need to order them for easy set ups. They will make the final connections.

I want to run the tin horizontally for good lapping at seams. Will caulking be enough to hold it together between the 24 inch centre studs?
