I love vintage photos. And as they say: Every picture tell a story.

Here is a picture of my Dad about 1955. My Grandparents had a cottage on the river at Keswick and this is where where I caught the "fishing bug" when I was barely able to walk.

Scuttlebutt Hut, reminds me of The Red Fisher Show and the Scuttlebutt Lodge that use to be on the local Barrie channel in the 60's and early 70's. Fished the same waters as Red but never caught fish like he did.

too the fist for thirst, no matter time of year, alot of fish sold in there over the decades, paid for the beers, think the last white fishies we sold was late 80s, was told by then was against the law or something...

When we had a few guys out, needed a bigger snowmobile...

Wow look at that car! Its mr. lahey !

Looks like a 1978 or there about FORD LTD made in Oakville.....I might have put some nuts and bolts in that one.

Early 90’s Simcoe whitefish. Not sure if my grandfather caught it or my dad caught it. That’s my grandfather, RIP. And me as a wee lad. Who knew whitefish would become an obsession of mine.
