that sturgeon hit and loss is number 6 for me and seems to happen only in the spring plus at that time we were fishing quite shallow


best baits of the day were...........orange and or purple, body baits and spoons


do not be afraid to run small stuff at this time of the year...the transition to bigger happens almost overnight and you never know exactly when


water color was great for miles both east and west and surface and bottom temps were identical to the 50 foot range


also play out the smaller salmon slowly as they have softer mouths than the bigger ones and hooks tear out easily if you horse them in
