last day for boat

Went fishing this morning with the thought that there would be more, but looking at the weather the rest of week decided it was time. we fished a river today tried several spots trolling and jigging nothing. guy came by told use we should go to spot several miles down river. this guy was a nice guy but that was pretty obvious because he had 3 yellow labs with him that had a conversation with my yellow lab. He was heading out perch fishing.

We were heading to that spot but would have spent a lot of time getting there, but decided to pack up and head straight there. we trolled with no success than jigged through the spot. I ended up with these 2, 18" and 17", so was a good final day. took the boat in for service after I cleaned up the fish.

That's a good end to the season, enjoy the dinner. Already looking forward to next year.

Very nice to end the year with some fish. Same thing, that weather forecast has also helped me make the decision to end the softwater season for the year.
