Not my biggest two perch, but a feat that is hard to replicate. I was kinda upset, as there was still an open hook on that treble!
Remember boys - Anyone can hook a big fish..........but it takes a skilled angler to put a hook into a tiny mouth!
Cheers,
Rip

Hello Gents,

Have to say even after 10 mins this is a great board. Was referred to here by a fellow Ford employee local to Barrie area.

Anyhow a bit about me,

I have a sickness for fishing, 12 months of the year. Ice fishing is my second favourite after River fishing for Steelhead. Originally from Windsor so grew up fishing smallmouth, Walleye, perch, pike.

Also have a trailer on the upper Saugeen river and spend the summer fly fishing for resident browns/rainbows/brookiers.

So far this is my 3rd season fishing Lake Simcoe and let me tell you im hooked. Growing up on Lake St. Clair, A big bowl of a lake and 30 mins walk to 12' water I am not missing it.

Have gotten a few whitefish but maybe this year ill get my first laker.

Enough with the rambling.... Cheers guys, see you out on the ice!

Hey avengere1, I think I should introduce myself as well, although I didn’t post as much lately as I used to do earlier last year.

I did a lot of fishing in Manitoba till 1980, then moved to Ontario ,Fished the French River area, lot of trips to Lake Nipissing, but in the last 12 years I fish mostly Lake Simcoe. That’s my home lake I live only 20 minutes drive away. I fish all four seasons, and I really miss this winter whitefish/ lake trout fishing.

My handle is Fish Hawk because this is the name and the model of my boat: Crestliner Fish Hawk.

See you on the water.

Fish Hawk (Peter)

This is not my personal best, but I don’t have too many digital pictures as I have been using film in my camera for too many years. I started to use digital not long ago.

This was a good day on the water; 2 nice WF and 1 LT.
