Building a fishing kayak, with a Minnkota Ulterra

Nothing would be complete without our Canadian flag, attached to the rear Navigation light.

Tomorrow I hope to finish the cockpit lighting and then get into the bow Navigation Lights.

Thanks Rico and Bassmaster...it has been fun researching the right combo to build this Yak....but hate the delays...I was hoping to already have launched this thing but will patiently wait.

Got the bow navigation lights installed today as well as 4 blue cockpit lights. I put the bow nav lights on the trolling motor mount. The cockpit lights are under the tracks as indirect lighting.

Called the Minnkota dealer and I finally got a update on my Ulterra...It is scheduled to be built in July. Damn thats 7 months from the December order time.

Well look what finally came in this week. I ordered this 50 weeks ago. I will continue to support the store I bought it from….. Natural Sports but not so sure of supporting Minn kota. Better ramp up production a tad Minnkota. Try hiring some people. Anyway my trolling motor is finally here and I can complete the kayak over the winter. Should be good to go for Spring salmon.
