Ends on a positive throwing back all but one of a dozen or more walleye from 12-24" while keeping 6 perch and one 42cm walleye.

Nice to see the 22" and 24" fish. Been a long time when two anglers fishing 5 hrs would get two that big.

Lots of nuisance walleye 12", couple of 39.5cm fish went back along with the big ones. All and all a great end to the season.

I had similar evening minus the perch. Dozen eyes and one keeper. Bunch that were 39 or 39.5 LOL. Beauty day though. Headed off the lake straight to the Super 8 in Kirkland Lake. Gonna hit Abitibi tomorrow and depending on the weather may go out again on Friday. Apparently there is 40 cm of snow on the way for this area Friday. My truck is good but pulling the sled trailer on the logging road into/out of Abitibi might be pushing it Friday night in the dark.

Plan is to add a limit of walleye, pike and a whack of burbot, Also gonna fill a 5 gallon pail of golden eyes for the smoker.
