Surprisingly some good fishing still to be had out there, maybe the warm temps for the past 3 weeks have extended the trolling season.

2 trolls on the weekend
Sat PM
Sun AM

Sat 4/8
3 salmon, 1 laker. Lost a few screamers nowhere near staging areas so maybe some matures or big 2 yr olds
Stopped fishing temp and concentrated on marks, fish were in warm water 66 degrees at the ball.
65/85 typically. New Triple threat spoons did all the damage. Very impressed with these spoons.

Sunday 3/3 all salmon and bigger 2 year olds. Big east winds pushed the fish out a bit. found them over 100-130. on cheaters, riggers set at 80 in temp. Lots of bait in shallow and I mean loads!! I hate fishing bait, a little deeper and screen was clear. All fish on Triple Threat lures again, standard sizes, Banana style spoons were good on the cheaters.

Kris

Nice to have the season extended this year, hope to be out again but i doubt it. Switching to musky and walleye.
