Just thought to mention using minnows like Woodfarmer this time of year is a great idea. If you are using plastic or lures, it's time to slow down on the retrieve. Water is cold now. Tuesday night I was fishing too fast and missed a lot of fish. Wednesday, slowed down to a turtle walk and caught dozens of fish. All the fish were released on Wednesday night to make more big walleye and crappie. Can't wait for one more kick at the can before the season ends. Good luck out there and stay safe.

Next five days are going to be great fishing. Check the forecast, there is going to be some strong winds. If you don't like wind stay in the rivers, or close to shore. I will be fishing around the clock, except for some naps here and there. Ten more days until the end of the season, just making up for missing June, July, and August. LOL. If anybody wants to know when and where the fish are hitting, I will try and post some details on some depths and times after I wake up each day. Never a better time to try something new. Don't forget the life jackets and all the gear. Good luck. Stay safe.
