Finally cracked my 42" PB with this super clean 44". Im a big guy for reference (6'4" - 240)
I was finishing my reel in and saw my tube coming back with 3' of weeds trailing off the back, did a double take and this guy was in tow. I brought him as far as I could and started my figure 8 and WHAM he inhaled it. My net guy was fast, but not before an epic blow up - full out of the water jump and an epic short fight.
Had 3 more interactions with other fish during the next few hours and then they shut off. Stayed out till after dark but didn't see another.

A long day on the water, I am surprised you did not try for walleye swimming under that beautiful sunset. Very nice PB musky "J" It looks a bit bigger than 44 inches. Next time it will be a 46 in the same area.

It was just 44 - it's ok, I'll keep on the hunt for the Kawartha Unicorn!
