Robert, it's funny where life leads you. When I retired in 1999, I had no idea I would be an SDC. It's all my wife's fault. She took up fiddle playing and dragged me to jams and dances and as they say, the rest is history.

Some neat photos, we must go through what we have of over the years on Simcoe, before thier was even a Joyland Beach, I know my betterhalfs grand father used to take anglers out etc in the 40s and 50s

Lost track of him many years ago and don't know if he is still around. On the right is SDC at age 15 or 16. Gad did I look young. In the middle is a typical catch of whitefish and herring.

Hey Ralph, great shot. No a bad looking young gaffer on the right. So I see you can catch those elusive fish. Sure wish they were that plentiful now.
