I went out for a sit this evening, hoping to bag a deer. With no luck, I walked back to my vehicle to head home. As I got to my SUV, a Conservation Officer appeared. He introduced himself, asked for and checked my licence/tag (all good) and asked about my hunting. He was professional, thorough, and friendly.
I appreciate the work Conservation Officers do to protect our resources and I wish we had more of them.
Just a reminder to play by the rules! (I assume everyone on this board does)

I actually missed them. I enjoy the conversation. One usually checks us while up waterfowl hunting. Didn't see him this year. He is also very professional and thorough. Before the the casual talk. I agree we need more of them around.
