Got out for the first time on ice chasing the brook trout again in the Sudbury area with my son on the Atv's. We fished 2.5 hours on 8 inches of good clear ice . We landed 5 fish and lost 2 largest was 14 inches all the fish that i catch guys i give all the info on the lakes as to size of fish and the feed i also do temp readings in the summer to help with the stocking of the local lakes i have been doing this for over 10 years on the brook trout lakes i really do think it helps the resources. The bio's love the information it helps on the amount of fish they stock and if the lake is good for stocking. Enough of the talk here are the pictures

Nice. For sure the biologists would love to have that information. How do you get the info. to them? Not that I have any useful information on stocked small lakes around my area right now being new to fishing for stocked trout (brookie, rainbow splake) and have no idea how to find these things and make them bite. Was out yesterday and nothing to report except the ice was good enough (but very surprisingly, not much increase in ice thickness even after a bit of colder temps - I thought it would have gained something) and that the two small lakes I tried were really beautiful, calm and peaceful....definitely, not a Simcoe weekend when the ice is thick enough to fish on. Also unlike on Simcoe, I caught nothing and saw nothing but working on it. So strange to be even thinking about fishing in such shallow water.

I frequently send e-mail back and forth and also they follow my YouTube . I am now considered credible info to them as i have been doing reports for the areas i like to fish i cover about 12 lakes and report the growth of the fish.
