Heya folks. Haven’t gotten out this year as I’m typically more cautious than most and live in whitby. Need to scratch the itch so gonna make a trip up to Nipissing next Thursday. Have an Argo and all my gear just looking for advice on where to access the lake and places to get bait. Ideally probably park/launch where an outfitter does so we can stay on a proven path out. I don’t mind paying for parking at all for good spots to head out from. We will be staying in our pop up overnight also so parking has to be ok for that.
Thanks, in advance, very much for any and all advice!

Bait is available from Billy Bob's bait off Lakeshore drive, you can access the lake from right from Lakeshore drive many public access points. good luck

The North shore at sunset has a crack opened as you may have heard by now otherwise i would have suggested Sunset.I don't think you'll like what you see unless we get some cold weather.

Thanks so much guys for the replies so far. I’m hopeful that these temps dropping after today will tighten things back up. Will keep an eye on reports before making the trek up there.
