Yup I have 38 small engines that run my property Maintenance business and they all get put into storage with stabiliser added. Never a startup issue.

lots of good info as usual......some other points


external tank....make sure you run stabilizer through the attached fuel line as SD says

surprise that nobody is fogging their engine.......I certainly do that with all my outboards
