Yesterday I had a group from Ohio that have been with me for the past 26 years on an annual basis...even though retired, I could not refuse this group
we headed out at 6.15 and got into a serious bite that lasted from 7 am till 9.30 then it just shut down with streakers going through the gear constantly but no takers...annoying but it is what it is
Everybody got fish and most were quite decent in the 16-19 pound range along with 2 around that 6 pound mark and finished with 1 rainbow
we laughed and chatted a lot of all the prior trips and they are like family
fished from 80 fow out to 210 and temp variance was dramatic at the ball best was around the 110 mark. fish came on wire dipseys on spoons and riggers with meat
went 11 for 13.....they are good at fighting salmon
will see them again next year
